We welcome children to stay. Extra beds are available in a few selected rooms for children up to 12 years of age. Rates are as follows: £25 per night (includes breakfast); children requiring cots – £17.50 per night (includes breakfast); and children occupying a room of their own – up to 50% off, subject to availability and demand. We offer a children’s menu from 18h00 to 19h00 in the lounges but regret that children under seven years of age are not allowed in the restaurant at dinner (from 19h00).
We welcome dogs to stay. We have two rooms with direct external access. Dogs aren’t allowed in the hotel public rooms or other hotel bedrooms. They’ll love the grounds though! We have a kennel on site and some like to keep their dog in their car overnight. There is a charge of £10 per dog and this includes a selection box of treats, a dog mat and bed, bowl and a toy.
All reservations must be confirmed by credit card with a deposit equivalent to the first night’s stay (except at Christmas and New Year when the value of the full stay may be requested in advance). Deposits will be refunded if we re-let the room or if 14 days’ notice of cancellation is received by email or in writing. We advise guests to take out insurance against cancellations. A reservation is a contract in law and you may be liable for the cost of the total stay. Cheques will only be taken by prior arrangement or up to the value of an accompanying bank cheque card. No company cheques are accepted, and no accounts can be sent to a company unless a bona fide purchase order is supplied in advance of the stay. We welcome cash, travellers’ cheques, Amex, MasterCard and Visa. We reserve the right to alter the rates quoted without prior notification.
